Introductory Blog Post

This blog will be about all things baseball, but more specifically the Yankees. I will cover all big stories and news around the MLB but the bulk of my blogging will be about the Yankees. For example there was a blockbuster trade that was finalized between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox, the Red Sox sent their MVP outfielder Mookie Betts and pitcher David Price and cash to the Dodgers for two of the Dodgers top prospects. While it is great the the Yankees’ division rival Red Sox have lost a couple huge pieces to their team, the Dodgers are the team the Yankees will most likely face if they can make it to the World Series and the dodgers have been loading up on new talent this offseason. The Red Sox, however have been trading players making big money so they can get under the luxury tax, as this would be their fifth year over the tax, so the percentage of money taxed increases. The Yankees have been following suit with the Dodgers and loading up this offseason, acquiring Gerrit Cole, who has been arguably the most dominant pitcher in baseball over the last two seasons. Along with the return of Jordan Montgomery, and Miguel Andujar who missed almost the entire 2020 season. The shortened sixty game season has been a roller coaster so far but has since smoothed out after some serious doubts came up due to COVID outbreaks.

This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned for more. Subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.
